We’re in the process of sunsetting Plus X-Accounts to make way for our new and improved Fixed X-Accounts. While your existing Plus account will continue to earn interest for now, no new Plus accounts can be created, and we encourage you to upgrade to the Fixed model for a better experience and more control over your savings.
Why upgrade to Fixed?
Fixed X-Accounts offer greater rewards and flexibility when it comes to term management.
Unlike Plus, where the lock period was not predefined and could only be managed via withdrawal requests, Fixed X-Accounts let you:
Earn higher interest rates
Choose a fixed term that you want (from 1 to 24 months, depending on currency)
Lock funds with confidence — knowing exactly when they will be available again
Receive weekly interest payouts, either in-Kind or in WXT (for boosted rewards)
Once your term ends, your Fixed X-Account automatically becomes Flexible, so you can access your funds or lock again.
How to upgrade from Plus to Fixed?
Upgrading is easy and only takes a few taps in the app
Open your existing Plus X-Account
Tap Manage
Select Upgrade to Fixed
Choose the fixed term that meets your savings goal
Confirm your selection — and that’s it!
Your interest will now be calculated based on the new Fixed rate.
You won’t be able to change the term once the upgrade is complete.
Your funds will be locked until the selected term ends.
