Card transfers, or OCT (Original Credit Transactions), allow you to send funds directly from your Wirex account to an external credit or debit card. This method is fast, secure, and serves as an alternative to a traditional bank transfer.

1. Sign in to your Wirex account and click “Send” from the dashboard.
2. Select “Card transfer" and choose fiat or crypto currency you want to send.
3. To fill in the recipient's details.
You can send a Card transfer to your own card, to someone else’s card, or to a card you’ve already saved—making it easy to move money wherever you need.

You can choose one of the following options:
To Myself – if you want to withdraw funds to your own card, enter your card number
To Someone else – if you want to send funds to a third party. Enter the recipient’s card number and the recipient’s Full Name

Click From Saved card to use a previously saved card
You can enable the Save card checkbox, and the entered details will be saved.
For future transactions, simply select the From saved card tab and choose the card you want to transfer to — without the need to re-enter the card number or the recipient’s full name.

4. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw. You can only enter an amount in the currency displayed on the screen.
5. Review the details and confirm payment using Biometrics or SMS one-time password.
6. After the transaction is completed, you can see all the details of the transaction in the recent activity
Card transfers are usually processed instantly, but the exact timing may vary depending on the sending and receiving banks. In most cases, funds arrive within a few minutes, although some transfers can take up to 1–3 business days
