The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Refer-a-Friend Promotion (the “Competiton”) which is offered by Wirex Digital Services s.r.l., subject to your location and eligibility (referred to as “Wirex”):
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

“RAF T&Cs” means current refer-a-friend promotion terms and conditions placed at https://wirexapp.com/.

“Referral Link” means the unique code the Referral will be sharing to the Referred User. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex users, Referrers, Referred Users or any other third parties for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation in this Promotion.

“USD” means United States Dollar.

“Wirex App” means the Wirex mobile application which allows you to buy, store, exchange and spend a wide variety of traditional and digital currencies.

“Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekend and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.

“WXT” means the Wirex Token on the Wirex Service
Timescale
1. The Competition will run from 11:01 GMT on 20th September 2024 until 23:59 GMT on 30th September 2024 (“Competition Period”).
Eligibility
2. The Competition is open exclusively to Wirex Verified Users (referred to as "Eligible Participants"). Verified Users are individuals who have successfully completed the KYC process in accordance with the applicable Wirex Terms and Conditions in their relevant jurisdiction.
Mechanics
3. Eligible Participants will use their referral link in accordance with the applicable to them RAF T&Cs to add as many Referred Users as possible. The five Eligible Participants with the highest numbers of Referred Users will be the winners of the Competition.
Participation Requirements
4. To Participate in this Competition, Eligible Participants must successfully meet the following criteria within the Promotion Period:
a) Already registered, verified Wirex Users (Referral User) must generate a referral link through their Wirex Account and provide the referral link to an individual who does not have a Wirex Account (Referred User).
b) The Referred User must successfully register for a Wirex Account and complete the relevant KYC process.
c) The Referred User must complete one of the actions defined in the applicable to them RAF T&Cs (Referral Actions).
Reward
5. Wirex will grant five Eligible Participants with the highest numbers of Referred Users who fulfil the Participation Requirements the following Rewards:
1st place shall receive a reward of USD 100
2nd place shall receive a reward of USD 75
3rd place shall receive a reward of USD 50
4th place shall receive a reward of USD 25
5th place shall receive a reward of USD 10
6. The rewards in WXT will be credited through tip.cc | Discord; the rewards in the traditional currency will be credited to the Eligible Participants’ Wirex Account within 30 Working Days after the end of the Competition Period.
Reward Currency and Exchange Rate
7. It is clarified that the Reward will be converted to WXT or traditional currency rather then USD on Eligible Participants’ behalf. The specific amount of WXT or another currency shall be subject to an exchange rate determined by Wirex at its sole discretion.
8. Upon Wirex awarding the Reward to an Eligible Participant, no further Rewards shall be disbursed. This Competition entitles each Eligible Participant to a single entry.
General
9. Wirex reserves the right to withhold Rewards for any reason, including but not limited to circumstances where:

the action is prohibited by applicable law.

identity verification is unattainable in accordance with Wirex's Terms.

fraudulent creation of a Wirex account or other breaches of Wirex's General Terms of Service are reasonably suspected.

an Eligible Participant possesses multiple Wirex accounts.
10. Wirex reserves the right to amend these Terms and the Rewards at any time without notice.
11. Eligible Participants are only able to qualify for one of the Rewards set out in s5.
12. Subject to applicable law, Wirex shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to compensate Wirex users or any other third parties for losses or damages incurred as a result of their participation in this Competiton.
13. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Competition at any time without prior notice to Wirex users. By participating, you acknowledge that the receipt of a Reward is not guaranteed, and Rewards may not be paid if changes occur in the Competition, limitations are imposed, or fraudulent activity is detected and if this Promotion is terminated.
14. This Competition is for individual Users only and cannot be used in connection with any business or advertising affiliate activity. Should Wirex in its absolute discretion consider that a User is using this Competition in connection with a business or advertising affiliate activity, it can withdraw your right to a Competiton Reward and remove you from the Competiton.
15. Wirex shall process personal information collected or received in connection with the Competition as set out in its Privacy, Data Use, and Retention Policy.
16. These Terms constitute the comprehensive agreement between participants and Wirex concerning the subject matter herein, superseding all previous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether documented or verbal.
17. This Competiton is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Competition.
18. The Terms of this Competiton are governed by the laws of Croatia, and the parties irrevocably agree that the Italian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle, and/or determine any dispute, controversy, or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy, or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Competition.
