1. Welcome
Welcome to the Wirex Refer a Friend Programme Terms!
These Wirex Refer a Friend Programme Terms together with the Wirex General Terms of Service, Crypto-Assets Terms of Service and any other referenced documents (collectively “Refer a Friend Terms”) govern your participation in Refer a Friend Programme:
You, as the Wirex client; and
The Wirex company that provides you with access to the Wirex Service and your Wirex Profile is identified in the respective Wirex Crypto-Assets Terms of Service ("Wirex", or "we", "our", or "us").
By accepting these Refer a Friend Terms, you confirm that you have read, understood, these Refer a Friend Terms. You acknowledge and agree to be bound by these Refer a Friend Terms. If you do not fully understand these Refer a Friend Terms, you should not accept them.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of these Refer a Friend Terms, the following definitions apply:
- “Dashboard” means the visual display of all your data you see when opening the Wirex App.
- “USD” means United States Dollar.
- “Wirex App” means the Wirex mobile application which allows you to buy, store, exchange and spend a wide variety of traditional and digital currencies.
- “Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekend and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.
- “WXT” means the Wirex Token on the Wirex Service
3. Participation Eligibility and Requirements
The Programme is open exclusively to verified Wirex Clients in globally, except Prohibited Countries and Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the UK and the USA ("Eligible Participants").
To Participate in this Programme, Eligible Participant must generate a referral link through their Wirex Profile and provide the referral link to an individual who does not have a Wirex Profile (“Referred Client”). Referral link means the unique code the Referral will be sharing to the Referred Client.
The Referred Client must successfully register for a Wirex Profile and complete the relevant KYC verifications.
The Referred Client must complete one of the following actions (“Referral Actions”) within 45 days of their registration for the Eligible Participant to qualify for the Reward:
- Minimum Deposit of 300 USD
- Minimum Crypto purchase of 500 USD
- Opening a Multiply with minimum 100 USD deposit
- X-Account Plus opened with minimum 100 USD deposit
4. Reward
Wirex shall grant each Eligible Participant and Referred Client, who together fulfil the Participation Requirements the following Rewards:
- Eligible Participants who complete the Referral Action set out in point a in the section 3 shall receive a reward of 30 USD in WXT.
- Eligible Participants who complete the Referral Action set out in point b in the section 3 shall receive a reward of 100 USD in WXT.
- Eligible Participants who complete the Referral Action set out in point c in the section 3 shall receive a reward of 35 USD in WXT.
- Eligible Participants who complete the Referral Action set out in point d in the section 3 shall receive a reward of 35 USD in WXT.
The Reward will be credited to the Eligible Participants’ Wirex Account within 30 Working Days after the end of the Programme Period.
5. Reward Currency and Exchange Rate
It is clarified that the Reward will be exclusively granted in WXT. The specific amount of WXT shall be subject to an exchange rate determined by Wirex at its sole discretion.
Upon Wirex awarding the Reward to an Eligible Participant, no further Rewards shall be disbursed. This Programme entitles each Eligible Participant to a single entry.
6. General
Wirex reserves the right to withhold Rewards for any reason, including but not limited to circumstances where:
- the action is prohibited by applicable law.
- identity verification is unattainable in accordance with Wirex's Terms.
- fraudulent creation of a Wirex account or other breaches of Wirex's General Terms of Service are reasonably suspected.
- an Eligible Participant possesses multiple Wirex accounts.
Wirex reserves the right to amend these Refer a Friend Terms and the Rewards at any time without notice.
Eligible Participants are only able to qualify for one of the Rewards set out in the Section 4.
Subject to applicable law, Wirex shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to compensate Wirex Clients or any other third parties for losses or damages incurred as a result of their participation in this Programme.
Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Programme at any time without prior notice to Wirex Clients. By participating, you acknowledge that the receipt of a Reward is not guaranteed, and Rewards may not be paid if changes occur in the Programme, limitations are imposed, or fraudulent activity is detected and if this Programme is terminated.
This Promotion is for individual Clients only and cannot be used in connection with any business or advertising affiliate activity. Should Wirex in its absolute discretion consider that a Client is using this Programme in connection with a business or advertising affiliate activity, it can withdraw your right to a Promotion Reward and remove you from the Programme.
Wirex shall process personal information collected or received in connection with the Programme as set out in its Privacy, Data Use, and Retention Policy.
These Terms constitute the comprehensive agreement between Eligible Participants and Wirex concerning the subject matter herein, superseding all previous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether documented or verbal.
This Programme is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Programme.
7. Amendments to these Refer a Friend Terms
We reserve the right to amend these Refer a Friend Terms at any time, without prior notice to you. It is your responsibility to review these Refer a Friend Terms periodically for any changes. Any changes to these Refer a Friend Terms will take effect immediately upon publication on the Wirex Platform.
8. Miscellaneous
These Refer a Friend Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with laws specified in the Crypto Assets Terms of Service you have accepted.
Unless stated otherwise in these Refer a Friend Terms, if any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court or competent authority, such provision shall be deemed modified or, if necessary, struck out to the extent required, and the remainder of these Refer a Friend Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
The failure or delay by Wirex in exercising any right or enforcing any provision of these Refer a Friend Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver must be made in writing to be effective. All rights and remedies under these Refer a Friend Terms are cumulative and not exclusive of any rights or remedies provided by law.
You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or obligations under these Refer a Friend Terms without our prior written consent. Wirex may assign or transfer its rights or obligations under these Refer a Friend Terms at any time without notice. No third party shall have any rights to enforce any part of these Terms.
Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the governing law and courts specified in the Crypto Assets Terms of Service you have accepted, without prejudice to any rights the user may have under the laws of their country of residence or domicile, including the right to bring a claim before the courts of that country. Nothing in these Terms shall affect the client’s statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of their country.
