The Promotion
The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Wirex Credit Promotion (the “Promotion”) offered by Wirex Digital Services s.r.l. (“Wirex”) subject to your location and eligibility. By taking part in this Promotion, you are confirming your agreement to these Terms, and it is your responsibility to ensure you read these Terms carefully and fully understand them before agreeing to take part in the Promotion.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
“Dashboard” means the visual display of all your data you see when opening the Wirex App.
“EEA” means the locations within the European Economic Area where Wirex offers its services.
“EUR” means Euro.
“Wirex App” means the Wirex mobile application which allows you to buy, store, exchange and spend a wide variety of traditional and digital currencies.
“Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekend and any public holidays when the banks are closed for business.
“WXT” means the Wirex Token on the Wirex Service
Promotion Period
1. The Promotion will run from 17:01 (GMT) on 14th August 2025 until 23:59 (GMT) on 14th September 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
2. The Promotion is open exclusively to Wirex Users in the EEA region, the APAC region and RoW countries that have Wirex Credit as a feature (referred to as "Eligible Participants"). For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Platform are eligible to participate in this Promotion, this Promotion is not open to residents in the UK or USA.
A Wirex Credit is necessary to be opened to participate in this Promotion. Internet access and a Wirex verified account are required.
Personal data collected or processed as part of this Promotion will be handled in accordance with Wirex’s Privacy Policy and used solely for the purposes of administering this Promotion, verifying eligibility and delivering Rewards.
This Promotion is a deterministic offer based on qualifying Wirex Credit activity and does not involve any elements of chance, lottery or any other sweepstakes mechanics.
Qualifying Transactions
3. For the purposes of this Promotion, a “Qualifying Transaction” means: signing up to Wirex, opening a Wirex Credit of $100 or equivalent, $1000 or equivalent, $10000 or equivalent and repaying it in minimum 60 days.
4. Any Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Action prior to or after the Promotion Period will fall out of scope of this Promotion.
5. Any Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Action after the total amount allocated by Wirex for this Promotion (“Total Reward Value”), has been reached, will not be eligible for the Promotion Reward. Wirex reserves the right to disqualify or deny any Rewards to Participants suspected of engaging in fraudulent, abusive or non-compliant behaviour, including creating multiple accounts, using automated services, or manipulating the platform.
Reward
6. Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Action will be eligible to receive the Reward (“Qualifying Participants”) subject to exceptions set out in terms 5 and 6 above.
7. Qualifying Participants will receive
Borrow $100 → Earn $10 in WXT
Borrow $1,000 → Earn $50 in WXT
Borrow $10,000 → Earn $100 in WXT
8. The Reward will be credited to Qualifying Participants’ WXT accounts in 30 days from the end of the Promotion Period. WXT is our digital reward token; it is not equivalent to cash however, WXT can be exchanged for other currencies in the Wirex app. Once a Qualifying Participant has received the Reward in WXT, it can be converted to other currencies through the Wirex Platform, once the set WXT threshold is achieved, at the Qualifying Participants’ discretion. WXT is not legal tender, and its value may fluctuate. Please be advised that WXT may not be redeemable for fiat in some jurisdictions or under certain liquidity conditions., andWirex does not guarantee the ability to exchange WXT at a fixed rate.
9. The maximum amount to be distributed to each Qualifying Participant, via this Promotion is the equivalent of 100 $ in WXT (“Participant Maximum Reward Value”). Wirex reserves the right to apply any applicable USD exchange rate prior to or during the Promotion Period. All taxes (including income and witholding taxes), duties and other governmental charges or reporting requirements in connection with the receipt of the Reward are the sole responsibility of the Participant. Only one reward will be granted per Eligible Participant regardless of the number of eligible subscription services linked or used during the Promotion Period. The value of WXT at the time of crediting may not be the same as its value when a Participant decides to exchange or withdraw it. Wirex does not guarantee any future value of WXT.
10. Wirex reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time, whether or not the Total Reward Value has been reached, and to increase or decrease the Total Reward Value at any time. If Wirex cancels the Promotion, users will be notified of such change.
General
11. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex Users, Eligible Participants or Qualifying Participants for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation in this Promotion. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wirex is not responsible for:
Any loss of income, business or profits (whether direct or indirect)
Any loss of data or information
Any events outside of our reasonable control (including system outages, internet failures, or acts of third parties)
12. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to any users, Eligible Participants or Qualifying Participants as far as permitted by local law, even if a user has already commenced a qualifying action. If any changes occur to these Terms or the Promotion is terminated, updates will be published in the Wirex app and these changes will take effect immediately.
13. This Promotion is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Promotion.
14. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of Croatia for users in the EEA and by the laws of Australia for users located in the rest of the world.The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of Italy for users in the EEA and Australia for users outside the EEAshall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion. Participants outside Italy and Australia acknowledge that any disputes will be resolved according to the laws and courts specified above, regardless of their local jurisdiction.
15. If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will still apply to this Promotion.
16. Participants shall be responsible for paying any taxes that apply to the rewards they receive as part of this Promotion.
17. Wirex shall not be held responsible for any failure to fulfil the Promotion obligations due to events beyond its control.
18. By participating in this Promotion, Participants consent to the use of their name, country of residence and any associated social media handles by Wirex for promotional and marketing purposes in connection with this Promotion, without further compensation except where prohibited by law.
