1. The Promotion
1.1 The Wirex Fixed X-Accounts Refer-a-Friend Promotion (the “Promotion”) is a limited-time campaign offered by Wirex and is subject to these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 During the Promotion Period, eligible users (“Referrers”) can earn rewards in USDC when their referred friends (“Referees”) open and fund Fixed X-Accounts in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
1.3 Participation in the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions in full.
1.4 The Promotion runs from 11:00 UTC on 19 January 2026 until 23:59 UTC on 19 April 2026 (the “Promotion Period”), unless terminated earlier pursuant to Clause 6.1 below.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The Promotion is open to all verified Wirex users, excluding residents of the United Kingdom, Korea and Singapore.
2.2 The Referee must be a new Wirex user who registers using the Referrer’s unique Refer-a-Friend (RAF) link during the Promotion Period.
2.3 Both Referrer and Referee must hold active, verified Wirex accounts and comply with all Wirex Terms of Service throughout the Promotion Period and payout process, including all KYC/AML requirements.
2.4 Wirex employees, contractors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate, and any such entries will be deemed invalid.
2.5 Wirex reserves the right to review participant eligibility and may disqualify any participant failing such verification.
3. How to Qualify
3.1 The Referrer must share their unique Wirex Refer-a-Friend link with potential Referees in a lawful manner and without engaging in unsolicited or misleading communications. 3.2 The Referee must:
- Sign up to Wirex using the Referrer’s RAF link during the Promotion Period;
- Open at least one Fixed X-Account within the 30 days since registration;
- Deposit a minimum of USD 100 (or equivalent) into the Fixed X-Account within the Promotion Period or in maximum 30 days since registering, whichever comes first
- Select a minimum lock term of 3 months or longer, and must not withdraw, cancel, or otherwise reduce the qualifying deposit before the expiry of the selected term.
3.3 The Referrer will earn a USDC reward equivalent to USD 1 for every USD 100 deposited by their eligible Referees.
3.4 There is no limit to the number of Referees a user may invite; however, the maximum total reward per Referrer is USD 5,000 in USDC during the Promotion Period regardless of the number or value of qualifying deposits.
3.5 Only the Referrer earns the reward under this Promotion. Referees do not receive a monetary benefit, and no additional incentives will be provided unless expressly stated by Wirex.
3.6 Referrers must not use deceptive, misleading or unlawful means to solicit Referees. Wirex reserves the right to disqualify any deposits or accounts obtained through prohibited or fraudulent activities.
4. Reward Details & Payout
4.1 The reward is calculated based on the cumulative value of all qualifying Fixed X-Account deposits made by valid Referees during the Promotion Period.
4.2 Rewards will be credited to the Referrer’s Wirex account in USDC.
4.3 Rewards are not paid immediately and will be distributed within 30 business days from the 19th of each calendar month, starting on 19 February 2026, for the duration of the Promotion.
4.4 The reward will appear as a single aggregated credit.
4.5 If a Referee withdraws or closes their Fixed X-Account before the minimum term ends, the associated referral reward will be voided and Wirex may reverse or reclaim any reward already issued.
4.6 Rewards are non-transferrable, non-assignable and are not redeemable for cash, except where expressly authorised by Wirex. Wirex may withhold any amounts required by applicable tax or regulatory laws.
4.7 Wirex reserves the right to verify all eligibility criteria and transaction details before issuing rewards and to withhold, suspend or deny rewards where fraudulent, abusive or suspicious activity is suspected.
5. Important Notes
5.1 Only Fixed X-Accounts opened and funded during the Promotion Period are eligible and only initial deposits meeting the criteria in Section 3 above are considered qualifying deposits.
5.2 Deposits made before 19 January 2025 do not qualify and cannot be retrospectively applied.
5.3 Each Referee may only be linked to one Referrer, based on the RAF link used at registration.
5.4 Self-referrals, multiple accounts, or other fraudulent activity will lead to disqualification and may result in account suspension or closure in accordance with Wirex’s Terms of Service.
5.5 Total rewards per Referrer are capped at USD 5,000 in USDC for the entire Promotion Period.
5.6 Wirex may conduct audits to ensure compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Rewards issued in error or resulting from fraudulent or non-compliant activities may be reversed at Wirex’s discretion.
6. General
6.1 Wirex reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the Promotion at any time without prior notice or liability to participants, provided that such amendment does not materially reduce rewards already earned prior to the effective date of the amendment.
6.2 This Promotion cannot be combined with other Wirex referral or deposit offers unless expressly stated.
6.3 By participating, users agree to these Terms & Conditions and to Wirex’s General Terms of Service, which shall prevail in the event of any inconsistencies.
6.4 Wirex shall not be responsible for any indirect or consequential loss in relation to this Promotion, including any technical, network, or system failures that would prevent users from participating in the Promotion, and such failures shall not constitute grounds for a claim against Wirex.
6.5 Wirex’s decisions on all matters relating to this Promotion are final and binding and participants waive any right to challenge such decisions, except where prohibited by law.
6.6 These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable to the user’s country of residence, subject to Wirex’s General Terms and any disputes shall be subject to the dispute resolution mechanisms contained therein.
