The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Wirex Private Exclusive X-Accounts Plus Pre-Funding Promotion (the “Promotion”) which is offered by Wirex Digital Services s.r.l., subject to your location and eligibility (referred to as “Wirex”):
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
- “AER” means Annual Equivalent Rate.
- “Dashboard” means the visual display of all your data you see when opening the Wirex App.
- “BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP, GBP, EUR, USD, USDC” means the eligible digital assets available for this Promotion.
- “Wirex App” means the Wirex mobile application which allows you to buy, store, exchange and spend a wide variety of traditional and digital currencies.
- “Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.
- “X-Account Plus” means the upgraded version of Wirex’s savings product, offering ed-term accounts at enhanced interest rates.
Timescale
1. The Promotion will run from 09:01 GMT on 27th September 2025 until 23:59 GMT on 2nd November 2025 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
2. This Promotion is open exclusively to Wirex Private customers who have an active Wirex customer account and access to the Private programme.
3. Customers must pre-fund their X-Accounts Plus in eligible digital assets (BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP, GBP, EUR, USD, USDC) during the Promotion Period to participate.
Participation Requirements
4. To participate in the Promotion, Wirex Private customers must: a. Pre-fund their X-Accounts Plus in any of the eligible digital assets (BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP, GBP, EUR, USD, USDC) during the Promotion Period. b. By pre-funding their account as part of this Promotion, participants provide their explicit consent and confirm that they understand and agree that the account will be automatically upgrade of the account into a Fixed X-Account for a 3-month term starting from the date of the official launch of X-Accounts Plus in October 2025.
Reward
5. Eligible participants will receive up to +3% AER (the “Bonus Rate”) on top of the launch rate of the upgraded X-Accounts Plus.
6. The Bonus Rate will be applied for a fixed term of 3 months starting from the date of upgrade of the X-Account to the Fixed X-Account.
7. After the 3-month fixed term ends, the X-Account will revert to the standard rate available for the relevant account type unless otherwise communicated by Wirex.
General
8. By funding their X-Accounts for this Promotion, participants explicitly agree that their X-Account will be:
- Converted into a Fixed Term X-Account for a 3-month term.
- Locked at the upgraded launch rate plus the additional Bonus Rate (up to +3% AER) during this period.
9. Wirex reserves the right to withhold or withdraw Rewards if:
- the action is prohibited by applicable law;
- identity verification is unattainable in accordance with Wirex’s Terms;
- fraudulent account creation or other breaches of Wirex’s General Terms of Service are reasonably suspected;
- an Eligible Participant holds multiple Wirex accounts.
10. Rewards are limited to one eligible participation per Wirex Private customer.
11. Wirex reserves the right to amend these Terms and the Reward at any time without notice provided that such amendments will not adversely affect participants who have already qualified for the Promotion, and subject to prior notice where required by applicable law.
12. Subject to applicable law, Wirex shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to compensate users or any third parties for losses or damages incurred as a result of participation in this Promotion , except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
13. This Promotion is for individual Wirex Private customers only and cannot be used in connection with any business or affiliate activity.
14. Wirex shall process personal information collected or received in connection with the Promotion as set out in its Privacy, Data Use, and Retention Policy.
15. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between participants and Wirex concerning the Promotion and supersede all prior understandings, agreements, or communications.
16. This Promotion is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or third parties relating to this Promotion.
17. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of Croatia, and the parties irrevocably agree that the Italian courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle, and/or determine any dispute, controversy, or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy, or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
